NEW YORK, NY –As Pinstriped Prospects enters its’ tenth season providing independent coverage of the New York Yankees farm system, it has named John Brophy as its new Managing Editor of the website, effective immediately. John will become just the third Managing Editor of the website since it was officially launched in 2014.
“I am very happy to have John on board to lead Pinstriped Prospects into the future,” said Pinstriped Prospects founder and first Managing Editor Robert Pimpsner. “John has been a tremendous presence for the website since he joined in 2021 and has become an instrumental part of the website over the last couple of years. I would not trust anyone to take over the website and help lead it into a new era.”
Pinstriped Prospects has been going through some changes over the last year as many writers have moved on to other life opportunities. These changes followed a tough couple of years brought on by the pandemic, but Pinstriped Prospects has remained online.
“I’m looking forward to the upcoming season and the bright future of both Pinstriped Prospects and the Yankees farm system,” said Brophy. “Pinstriped Prospects is still the premier source for coverage of the Yankees’ minor league system despite all the changes we are undergoing.”
Pinstriped Prospects is looking for new writers to join its staff, including writers in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Somerset, Hudson Valley, Tampa, and more. For more information on how you can join the Pinstriped Prospects team, check out our Instagram and Twitter accounts.
