Pitching Fails in Ninth for Riverdogs

Key Story:

Pitching failed all around as even Clarkin was affected.  His line is a line of fours as he went four innings, allowed four earned runs on four hits and four walks.  Four strikeouts finished his line for the day.  This was a bad start for Clarkin but hopefully it is just a speed bump for him. The rest of the staff wasn’t better as they gave up another five runs, three of them earned.

Captain Clutch of the Game:

Michael O’Neil hit very well today as he went four for six with two doubles a run scored and a strikeout.

Golden Sombrero of the Game:

Mike Ford went hitless in four at bats today and over his last ten games he’s been bad.  His slash line is .189/.318/.216 brutal.

Katoh Watch:

34.1% coming into today with his no strikeout day yesterday.  Two more today will definitely bring that back up.
