Pitching Fails Riverdogs

Key Story:

The pitching was terrible as a staff they allowed ten runs.  Caleb Smith got the start and his string of bad starts continued.  Smith allowed three earned runs off of four hits and two walks over three innings of work.  Eric Ruth came in after him and allowed five runs in his three and two third inning.  Cole Coshow came in to finish the game and gave up two runs in an inning and a third.  As I said as a staff it wasn’t a good day for the staff

Captain Clutch of the Game:

Dustin Fowler went two for five with a run scored.  He also threw a runner out at third base.  The kid has skilled.

Golden Sombrero of the Game:

Brandon Thomas went hitless in four at bats with three strikeouts.

He got a day off so no additions to his strikeout total
