Pulaski Holds Off Danville for Key Win

DANVILLE, Va. – Carlos Vidal had three hits, while Gosuke Katoh, Kane Sweeney and Kendall Coleman each had two as the Pulaski Yankees (25-19) edged edged the Danville Braves (19-23), 3-2, before 678 fans at American Legion Field at Dan Daniel Park Friday night.

The win leaves Pulaski a game-and-and-half behind Princeton in the Appalachian League East.

Righty Simon De La Rosa allowed two tuns in five innings of relief to secure his third win in five decisions. Righty Brody Koerner picked up his fifth save.

The teams continue their weekend series at 7 p.m. Saturday in Danville.
