PULASKI, Va. – Righty Jhon Morban continued to have a bit of rough time of it, allowing all six Danville runs (five earned) as the Braves (5-9) handed the Yankees (8-7) a 6-4 setback in front of 1,544 at Calfee Field Tuesday night.
The loss, Morban’s third, came in a setback that snapped a four-game winning streak for Tony Franklin’s club. Hoy Jun Park had two hits, raising his Appalachian League average to ,302.
Ryan Clark picked up the win for Danville with three scoreless innings in relief.
The Yankees return to the road Wednesday night, opening a series at Hunnicutt Field against the Princeton Rays at 7 Wednesday evening.
