RailRiders’ Season Opener Postponed Until Saturday

Inclement Weather Forecasted in Buffalo, Doubleheader Set for Sunday

 

Moosic, Pa. – The SWB RailRiders’ (Triple-A/New York Yankees) season opener in Buffalo against the Bisons (Toronto Blue Jays) has been postponed until Saturday, April 8 at 1:05 p.m. Inclement weather forecasted for Buffalo has postponed play both Thursday, April 6 and Friday, April 7. The teams now have a doubleheader scheduled for Sunday, April 9 in Buffalo starting at 12:35 p.m. The fourth scheduled game of the series will be made up later in the season.

Saturday’s probable pitching match-up will have SWB right-hander Johnny Barbato opposing fellow righty Casey Lawrence.
