Applications Welcome for Seasonal Slots at PNC Field’s Mohegan Sun Club

Moosic, Pa. – With the calendar steaming towards spring, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Triple-A/New York Yankees) are looking to fill seasonal positions to help staff PNC Field in 2015. The RailRiders will be holding a job fair on Saturday, Feb. 21 in the Mohegan Sun Club at PNC Field in Moosic. These positions prove essential in enhancing the fan experience and providing supreme customer service at PNC Field.

“We welcome all comers that would like to get on board and become part of the RailRiders family,” said RailRiders interim GM Jeremy Ruby. “These positions are the frontline of our supreme customer service efforts for the hundreds of thousands of fans that enjoy PNC Field each season. We are excited to welcome the slew of NEPA residents that will be hired as a result of this event.”

The job fair is open to the public and all interested parties are encouraged to attend. It will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A variety of positions are available, including ushers, ticket takers and sellers, suite attendants, game entertainment staff, grounds crew, and many more. The RailRiders are also looking for students interested in internships with the media relations, sales, marketing, finance and operations departments.

A full list of available positions is attached. Application forms are available both online at swbrailriders.com and hard copies are available at the team’s PNC Field offices. Job seekers are urged to complete the application before arriving. Anyone attending should be prepared to interview for their interested employment area(s) during the event. However, no official hiring will take place on the day of the event. Instead, notification of pending seasonal employment will be sent shortly thereafter.

Additionally, Legends, the RailRiders’ official concessionaire and merchandiser, will hire its own seasonal slots at the job fair. Its openings include roles like suite/party attendants, cooks, concessions workers/cashiers and other roles detailed in the attached file.

The RailRiders open their 2015 season at home on April 9 against the Syracuse Chiefs (Washington Nationals). For more information please call (570) 969-BALL (2255) or visit swbrailriders.com.
