RailRiders Washed Out, Play Two Today

ROCHESTER, NY – Persistent showers around Frontier Field prompted the SWB RailRiders (Triple-A/ New York Yankees) and Rochester Red Wings to postpone their originally scheduled tilt  Saturday. The clubs will make the game up as part of a doubleheader Sunday,

First pitch for Game 1 is scheduled for 1:35 p.m. Game 2 will follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Both games are scheduled for seven innings.

Starters for both games have not been announced. The RailRiders return to PNC Field oMonday, August 15, for a doubleheader against the Norfolk Tides (Baltimore Orioles). First pitch is set for 5:05 p.m. The twin bill kicks off an eight-game homestand that includes a four-game, weekend series against the Pawtucket Red Sox.
