RailRiders Will Be Featured in YES Network’s Homegrown Series

HOMEGROWN:  THE PATH TO PINSTRIPES, WILL PROVIDE

UNPRECEDENTED ACCESS TO THE SWB RAILRIDERS

April 4, 2017 – The YES Network will give New York Yankees fans an unparalleled look at the SWB RailRiders, the New York Yankees’ Triple-A team, when the network premieres its new original series, Homegrown:  The Path to Pinstripes, on Friday, May 1, at 11 pm ET.

Two new 30-minute episodes of Homegrown will premiere each month from May to September this season.  Viewers will get unprecedented access to the players who are the Yankees’ biggest prospects, those who are just one level away from Yankee Stadium.   In addition, the series will cover prospects playing for other Yankees minor league teams.

The show will depict the on-field development, and the lifestyles and personalities of the RailRiders, the reigning Triple-A National Champions.  Homegrown will present the players, coaching staff and others on and off the field:  in the clubhouse, the dugout, the front office, in their homes, on the road and elsewhere, fully capturing the minor league experience.

Among the highly regarded prospects expected to be on the RailRiders roster this season are Clint Frazier, Tyler Wade, Jordan Montgomery and Kyle Higashioka.
