Hi, what are you looking for?

Rehab All Around

It was a big game from the Yankees today as they won five to two.  It was a big rehab game because Austin Romine played all nine innings in the field today.  As a team the Yankee had ten hits in thirty seven at bats today.  They had six walks also to go along with eight strikeouts.

Austin Romine had a good day today as he went one for three with that one hit being a double.  Romine also walked twice and he threw a guy out trying to steal.

Miguel Andujar and Tyler Austin also went one for three today also.  Andujar’s hit was a double and a walk.  Austin walked and struck out.

It was a good and bad day by Austin Aune.  At the plate he went two for five with one of his hits being a double.  While he struck out that wasn’t as bad as being caught stealing and being picked off first base.

Zachary Nuding continued his rehab assignment as he went four and two thirds today.  He allowed four hits that lead to two runs with only one of those being earned.  Nuding’s line had two walks but four strikeouts. Nuding had five GO to three FO.

Coming in after Nuding was Cesar Vargas who pitched three innings today.  He gave up one hit, two walks while only striking out one batter today. Vargas got the groundballs as he got five GO to one FO.

The Jays come to town tomorrow at noon eastern time.  Dayton Dawe will be pitching on Thursday to stay tuned.
