SALISBURY, Md. — The Charleston RiverDogs lost 3-1 to the Delmarva Shorebirds in the four-game series finale, and season-series finale Sunday evening at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium.
Delmarva (21-15 second half, 54-50 overall) jumped in front early with two runs in the bottom of the second. Steel Russell plated a pair with a two-out double, with runners on first and second, in his first at-bat with the Shorebirds this season.
