CHARLESTON, S.C. — The Charleston RiverDogs let an early lead slip away yet again as the Savannah Sand Gnats completed the four-game sweep with a 4-2 loss in Sunday evening’s series finale in front of 6,872 fans at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.

Eudor Garcia hit a ground-rule double, which drove in Guillorme, and Becerra scored on Michael Katz’s RBI single.
Charleston came back to tie the game 2-2 in the bottom of the fourth. Slaybaugh hit a two-out RBI single to plate Austin Aune and even the score, but it was the last run the RiverDogs scored in Sunday’s game.

Sunday’s game marked the final game of the season series, which Savannah took 12-8. It also marks the last time the Sand Gnats and RiverDogs will square off in the South Atlantic League, as the Gnats become the Columbia Fireflies in 2016.
