Riverdogs Offense Keeps Churning in Another Win

Key Story:

The Riverdogs offense keeps going as they scored eight runs in the victory.   As a team they had eleven hits and six walks against thirty eight at bats.  They hit a homerun and two triples.   If they keep pitching as they have done for most of the year and keep this hitting up they will win a lot of games.

Captain Clutch of the Game:

Abiatal Avelino keeps hitting as he went two for five with a triple that started the game.  On the season before this game Avelino had a wRC+ of 120.  It’s early but this could be the heir to Jeter.

Golden Sombrero of the Game:

Andrew Benak only went one inning but he gave up three of the runs on the day.  He did that by allowing three hits and two walks.  Benak really made the game interested but the Dogs won which is all that matters

Up Next:

Riverdogs will host Rome tomorrow at 7 eastern time.  No pitching announcements yet.
