The teams have split the first two games of the series. Adonis Rosa takes the hill for the RiverDogs. He comes in with no record in 20 and two-thirds innings pitched with a 2.61 ERA.

News and Notes:

– This is Rosa’s second consecutive start against the Shorebirds. On April 30, Rosa went five innings, allowing one run which was earned on one hit while striking out nine Birds in a 4-3 Dogs loss. Rosa would have earned the win, but the bullpen couldn’t hold the 3-1 lead they had into the bottom of the eighth.

– The RiverDogs look to bounce back after taking a 3-0 lead to the ninth in yesterday’s game. Garrett Mundell took the loss allowing all four runs in the 4-3 loss.

– Estevan Florial extended his hitting streak to nine games with a lead off single in yesterday’s contest.

– Hoy Park continues to hit well going 3-for-4 in yesterday’s contest, scoring two runs and raising his season average to .360
