Key Story:
The Riverdogs had scored some early runs but Brady Lail couldn’t hold that as he allowed three earned runs in his six innings of work. Lail did strike out four batters while allowing five hits and one walk. Luckily the bullpen came thru as they didn’t allow any more runs. This let Dustin Fowler get the game winning single that scored Michael O’Neil.
Captain Clutch of the Game:
Tyler Wade had a very good game as he went two for five with a double and a RBI. Wade has been struggling a bit lately since the season is so much longer than any he’s ever had before. This might just be the game he needs to take off again.
Golden Sombrero of the Game:
Eduardo de Oleo was hitless in three at bats and had three strikeouts.
Katoh Watch:
Coming in he had a 34.9% strikeout rate and he went one for three with a strikeout which will slightly lower his strikeout percentage.
Up Next:
Caleb Smith goes against Greenville at 7 pm.
