Runs Early Help Riverdogs win

Key Story:

The Riverdogs scored some early runs today and it helped Ian Clarkin.  Clarkin threw five innings today while allowing five hits and one walk which led to one run.  He did need 82 pitches to get thru five innings and struck out only three.   Clarkin is still pitching well but you would like to see some more strikeouts.

Captain Clutch of the Game:

Miguel Andujar went two for four with a home run.  He scored two runs and got two RBIs.  Andujar needed this game as he has been struggling of late.  Hopefully this launches his bat for a good rest of the year.

Golden Sombrero of the Game:

Katoh again went hitless with two strikeouts in three at bats.  Rough two plus months for him.
