The Thunder, in conjunction with the Eastern League, announced on Monday morning that Trenton starter Ryan Bollinger has been named the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week.

In his lone start for the qualifying week last Wednesday on the road against Altoona, Bollinger tossed seven innings of one-hit ball with two walks and three strike outs. In 14 starts for Trenton this season, the lefty is 7-4 with a 4.18 ERA.
After pitching the entirety of the 2017 campaign internationally overseas, the 27-year old southpaw inked a minor league deal with the Yankees this past winter. In his first campaign in the system, the organization has placed them on the 40-man roster and has promoted him to the big leagues on two occasions, though he is yet to appear in a game.
