Wednesday afternoon New York Yankees starting catcher Gary Sanchez threw from 60 feet for the first time since sustaining a Grade 1 biceps strain against the Baltimore Orioles 10 days ago.
Assuming there are no setbacks, Sanchez is hoping to return to action early-to-mid May. If his throwing sessions go according to plan, Sanchez will be cleared to hit and then eventually begin a minor league rehabilitation assignment.
