Moosic, Pa. – The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Triple-A/New York Yankees) are excited to announce that the Wyoming Valley Challenger Little League will play their entire schedule at PNC Field this year. This season marks the first time the league has played their entire schedule at PNC Field.

The schedule kicked off with formal World Series-style introductions for the players prior to the season opener on Sunday afternoon.

“It is an honor for our league to play at PNC Field. The kids are looking forward to the upcoming season and we hope that RailRider fans will embrace us as the second home team of Scranton/Wilkes-Barre,” said league president Dave Howell.

Fans can catch the Wyoming Valley Challenger Little League this summer on May 9, 23 and 30. The league will also hold games on 14 and 28 and August 2 and 23. First pitch is scheduled for 10:00 a.m.

The RailRiders open a seven-game road trip through the IL South Division on Monday, April 27, with a 6:35 p.m. pitch against the Gwinnett Braves at Coolray Field. The team returns to PNC Field on May 5 to host the Gwinnett Braves and Indianapolis Indians as part of a six-game homestand.
