Sensley is the Pinstriped Charleston RiverDogs Player of the Year

Steven Sensley (Jerry Coli)

Throughout the month of September, we have hosted various polls on Pinstriped Prospects so that our readers may help us name the top players throughout the system during the 2018 season.  The fans have spoken and named outfielder Steven Sensley as the 2018 Pinstriped Prospects Charleston RiverDogs Player of the Year.

With 54% of the votes, Sensley beat out Dermis Garcia, Jason Lopez, Dalton Lehnen, and others to earn the award.

Despite only being with the RiverDogs for 67 games, Sensley was second on the team in home runs with 10.  In those games, he had 231 at-bats and hit .277/.354/.498 with 15 doubles, three triples, and 22 RBIs, while walking 21 times.

His time with Charleston was cut short however when on June 27 he was promoted to the Florida State League.  He spent the remainder of the 2018 season with the Tampa Tarpons.
