Pulaski's Nestor Cortes allowed just a run over 5.2 innings., but Princeton rallied late to even the Appalachian League semifinal series.

Seven-Run Fifth Ignites Pulaski

PULASKI, Va. – Billy Fleming was 4-for-4, raising his Appalachian League average to .577 – and the Pulaski Yankees matched 4-5 marks with the Johnson City Cardinals in a 9-5 victory in front of 1,351 at Calfee Park.

Lefty Nestor Cortes threw six string innings in relief, striking out eight and walking none, in relief of Drew Finley to earn his first win of the season.

Pulaski will travel to Bluefield, W.Va. to meet the Blue Jays the best two nights, returning home to host the Blue Jays Saturday and Sunday.
