Smith Great in Victory for Riverdogs

Key Story:

The pitching was great today and Caleb Smith started it off right.  Smith went six innings while only allowing one hit and three walks.  He also struck out five batters which was good as Smith has been scuffling lately.  The rest of the staff kept the shutout going by only allowing three more hits for the rest of the game.  Overall a great game by the pitchers.

Captain Clutch of the Game:

Mark Patyton had himself a very good game as he went three for five with a double and two RBI’s.

Golden Sombrero of the Game:

Eduardo de Oleo was the only batter to not get a hit.  He went hitless in three at bats with a strikeout.

Katoh Watch:

34% coming into the game and no strikeouts for Katoh who went one for three with a run scored a walk.

Up Next:

The Riverdogs have an off day tomorrow so they don’t play again until Tuesday at 7 pm with Luis on the bump against Lexington.
