Staten Island University Hospital and the Staten Island Yankees Present Breast Health Awareness Night

STATEN ISLAND– On Saturday, August 16, at 7 p.m., the Richmond County Bank Ballpark at St. George will host Breast Health Awareness Night presented by the Florina Rusi-Marke Comprehensive Breast Center at SIUH. The evening will honor breast cancer survivors and help raise awareness for the cause.

As part of the Staten Island Yankees’ “Everyday Heroes Jersey Giveaway Series”, the first 2,500 fans in the ballpark will receive a free pink pinstriped jersey sponsored by SIUH. Along with the jersey giveaway, there will be free post-game fireworks on the waterfront against the Manhattan skyline.

Staten Island University Hospital, a 714-bed, tertiary care teaching hospital, occupies two large campuses, plus a number of community-based health centers and labs. The hospital, part of North Shore-LIJ Health System, enjoys numerous academic and clinical awards and accreditations.
