Strong Outing From DePaula not Enough as Tampa Falls

Key Story:

DePaula was very good as he tried to propel Tampa to a victory.  On the night he went for five innings with six strikeouts.  He allowed a run off of two hits and two walks.  On the season DePaula has a 2.30 ERA in 19.1 innings  along with 25 strikeouts.

Captain Clutch of the Game:

Dante Bichette Jr just keeps hitting as he went one for three on the day with a walk and RBI.  This has been a great start of the year for Bichette.

Golden Sombrero of the Game:

Peter O’Brien has been very good for Tampa but not this game.  On the day he went hitless in four at bats and had two strikeouts.  While that was bad he also missed a catch as a catcher for an error.

Up Next:

Daniel Camarena goes tomorrow looking for his first win.
