The Marauders took an early 1-0 lead, after a RBI single by Bradenton’s Jordan Steranka. Gerritse would end up pitching five innings allowing six hits and striking out two batters. RHP Chris Smith (ERA 3.57) then took over pitching duties in the sixth and seventh innings allowing just one hit by the Marauders. But, the T-Yanks run deficit would increase to two runs as reliever RHP Kyle Haynes (ERA 3.89) allowed Bradenton to score their second run of the night in the bottom of the eighth.
