Best line of the day was a tossup between Mikeson Oliberto , Jerison Lopez and Ericson Leonora. Obiliteto gets the best line of the day award from me with a two for three day. He had two runs, two RBI’s, two walks and a homerun. Leonora also had three hits in five at bats with a homerun. Lopez went three for five also with a double and a walk.
Couple guys had bad games. Fernando Perez went hitless in four at bats with three strikeouts. Austin Aune had the same line except he had a walk. Eduardo de Oleo went hitless in four at bats with two strikeouts and a walk.
Most interested line of the day on the pitching side goes to Rony Bautista. He went 3.2 innings of work without giving a hit or earned run. Now he did walk five batters and struck out 6. Bautista is a 6’7” foot left-handed pitcher who has been with the Yankees since 2009.
Giovanny Gallegos was the one who started the game and went two innings of work. He gave up two hits in that frame with a walk and two strikeouts.
On the season the Yankees are 8-1 which is a good start. They have been a little consistent offensively but hopefully the top prospects keep playing well.
