On a chilly night and in front of 6,360 fans at Arm & Hammer Park the Trenton Thunder fell to the visiting New Hampshire Fisher Cats 6-0. The defending Eastern League champions managed to only get three hits in the game.
Mason Williams, Rob Segedin and Zach Wilson accounted for the only three Thunder base hits in the game. Gary Sanchez and Taylor Dugas each drew a walk in the game as well.
Bryan Mitchell got the start for Trenton. He went four innings in the contest allowing four runs on four hits and two walks. He also struck out four in the game. Mitchell was followed by Jairo Heredia who went two innings allowing a run on three hits and a walk. Manny Barreda was next on the mound tossing two shutout innings before Cole Kimball pitched the ninth to complete the game.
