TRANSACTIONS: RHP Mullee to SWB; RHP Holder Joins Thunder

The Trenton Thunder, Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, have a pair of roster move to announce prior to Monday’s game against the Portland Sea Dogs.


  • Add: RHP Jonathan Holder from High-A Tampa Yankees
  • Delete: RHP Conor Mullee to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre


When Holder appears in a game for the Thunder it will be his Double-A debut. The 2014 6th-rounder out of Mississippi State University has appeared in two games for Tampa this season and has tossed 4.0 shutout innings while striking out seven batters. The 28-year old Mullee appeared in two games for the RailRiders a year ago, going 3.2 shutout innings against Triple-A competition.


With the roster move, the Trenton Thunder active roster remains at the Eastern League maximum 25 players.
