Hi, what are you looking for?

Yankees Four Run First Enough for the Win

The Yankees had a four run first and that was enough as they beat the Phillies by the score of four to two.  As a team they knocked out 11 hits in 36 at bats.  It was a bad day thou when it came to walks as they only had one but struck out nine times.

Mikeson Oliberto went three for four with two of his hits going for triples.  He did get an RBI and run to go along with a strike out.

Chris Breen went an empty two for four on the day without anything else on his line. He did allow a stolen base thou.

Giovanny Gallegos continued to not give up runs, well slightly.  He went three innings today and struck out three batters.  He did allow two hits that allowed a run to score but it wasn’t earned.  That keeps his ERA at a nice round 0.00 for the year.

Rony Bautista came in and backed Gallegos up by going four innings.  He allowed four hits and two walks that led to an earned run.  Bautista struck out four thou and got his other outs via the groundball which was six.

Tomorrow the Phillies will come to the Yankees complex for a noon eastern start time.
