Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (53-38)  vs. Syracuse Mets (43-48)

RHP Chance Adams (4-2. 4.01) vs. RHP Walker Lockett (2-2, 4.43 ERA)

Chance Adams will make his 12th start of the season for the RailRiders and his first against Syracuse. He last pitched on 7/5, taking a loss against Rochester after going 6.0 innings and allowing four runs on nine hits and striking out 3. The RailRiders are coming off a 4-3 victory over the Mets on Friday.

The RailRiders will be facing right-handed pitcher Walker Lockett. They previously faced him on June 8 and connected for two home runs, scoring three runs over seven innings.  The RailRiders are hitting .296/.321/.593 against him over 27 at-bats.


Trenton Thunder (47-40) vs. Reading Fightin’ Phils (54-36)
First Energy Stadium | Reading, PA
RHP Brian Keller (0-0, 3.45) vs. TBD

Brian Keller will make his fourth start of the season for Trenton and his first against Reading. He last pitched on 7/5 against Hartford giving up four earned runs on nine hits in 5 2/3 innings pitched. Keller took a no-decision. The Thunder are coming off a 3-0 victory against Reading on Friday.

Advanced Single-A

Tampa Tarpons (39-51) vs. Charlotte Stone Crabs (54-25)
RHP Jio Orozco (2-2, 3.16) vs. LHP Cristopher Sanchez (0-0, 27.00 ERA)
Charlotte Sports Park | Port Charlotte, FL

Jio Orozco will make his 7th start of the season for Tampa and his first against the Stone Crabs. He last pitched on 7/8 against Dunedin where he took a no-decision after going 5.0 innings of scoreless baseball, allowing only three hits. The Tarpons are coming off a 5-2 loss to Charlotte on Friday.


Charleston RiverDogs (47-45) vs. Columbia Fireflies (35-53)

RHP Alexander Vizcaino (4-4, 4.32) vs. RHP Jose Butto (3-7, 3.83)

Alexander Vizcaino will make his 15th start of the season for the RiverDogs and his second against Columbia. He last faced the Fireflies on 4/28 where he threw 7.0 scoreless innings allowing only two hits and striking out five in a quality start, earning a win. In his previous outing on 7/6 against Greenville, Vizcaino pitched 4 2/3 innings allowing an earned run on five hits and 6 strikeouts. The RiverDogs defeated Columbia 4-3 on Friday.

The 21-year-old Jose Butto will take the mound for Columbia. This season he is 3-7 with a 3.83 ERA and 80 strikeouts over 82 1/3 innings of work The RiverDogs have faced off against him four times already this season, they are hitting .226/.306/.377 against him over 53 at-bats. Josh Stowers and Brandon Lockridge each have three hits off Butto.

Short Season Single-A

Staten Island Yankees (12-14) vs. State College Spikes (15-13)

LHP T.J. Sikkema vs. LHP Jacob Schlesener (1-2, 3.76)

T.J. Sikkema will make his third start of the season for the SI Yanks and his first against State College. He last pitched on 7/7 against the Connecticut Tigers going 3.0 innings allowing only one hit and stuck out three. The Yanks look to turn things around after getting blown out by Hudson Valley 16-4 on Friday.

On the mound for the Spikes is left-hander Jacob Schiesener. The 12th round pick of the Cardinals in the 2015 draft is 1-2 with a 3.76 ERA in six games, five starts, for the State College Spikes.

Rookie Advanced

Pulaski Yankees (13-9) vs. Bristol Pirates (12-11)
DeVault Memorial Stadium | Bristol, VA
RHP Leonardo Pestana (0-1, 10.45) vs. RHP Tahnaj Thomas (0-2, 5.56)

Leonardo Pestana will make his fourth start of the season for Pulaski and his first against Bristol. He last pitched on 7/6 against Burlington where he allowed four earned runs on four hits in just an inning and a third. The Pulaski Yanks are coming off a 9-3 victory over Bluefield on Friday.

Thomas, 20, is a right-handed pitcher out of the Bahamas.  He is 0-2 with a 5.56 ERA in four starts this season for the Bristol Pirates. He has only thrown 11 1/3 innings over that time and previously faced Pulaski on July 7.
