The Yankees have come to terms with RHP Diego Moreno; signing him to a minor league deal.
Moreno, who originally joined the Yankees system in 2012 in the AJ Burnett, has been used as both a starter and reliever in 2015. And has shown glimmers of success in both roles.
However I would think that he will be used as a starter in the future. Mainly because the Yankees abundance of top-level minor league relievers, He should be slated to take of the AAA rotation spots, and has a real shot of getting back to the majors in 2016.
Before going on the disabled list with elbow inflammation, he looked like he had a earned a longer look with the Yankees.
