Yankees Release Adam Lind

The New York Yankees have announced that they have released veteran first basemen Adam Lind.

Lind was released after hitting .154 with one RBI in 13 at-bats (four games).

The 34-year old had an extremely productive season with the Washington Nationals is 2017, batting .303 with 14 doubles, 14 home runs, and 59 RBI’s in 116 games. The left-handed hitter led all of Major League Baseball with four pinch-hit home runs just a season ago.

Adam was signed by the Yankees as a minor league free agent on March 2nd. The roster now stands at 46 players.
