The New York Yankees selected another RHP in the 8th round of the MLB Draft, this time it was Nicholas Judice out of the University of Louisiana-Monroe.
Judice has a fastball that can reach up to 100 MPH and has a slider that has some big sweep to it and get be thrown as hard as 88 MPH.
He made 21 appearances with three starts, posting a 3-3 record and two saves with a 3.74 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP over 53 innings, allowing 26 runs, 22 earned, on 45 hits with 15 walks and a team-high 66 strikeouts. Judice also recorded a good K/9 of 11.21 and an above average BB/9 of 2.55.

The Yankees add another tall arm to the system as he is projected as one of the best relief pitchers in the draft class.
