Used mostly as a bullpen arm at USC, Chandler Champlain is the Yankees’ 9th round (273rd overall) selection. Champlain made 15 appearances in 2021, with 74.2 IP and recorded a 5.06 ERA. A 6’5″ 220 lb. Redshirt Sophomore in 2021, Champlain gave up 47 runs (42 earned) on 88 hits.

In 2018, Perfect Game recorded his fastball at 90 MPH, and is said to have a curveball in his arsenal as well. Champlain shows good control with these two pitches, despite having a rough year at USC in 2021. In the shortened 2021 season, Champlain threw in 7.1 IP in 6 appearances and only gave up 4 runs (1 earned) on 12 hits.
