Yankees Shutout in Hensley’s Start

The Yankees were dominated today as they lost three to zero.  They got four hit today to go along with zero walks.  The Braves pitching staff also overpowered the lineup as they struck out 15 Yankees.

Best day offensively was Jerison Lopez who went two for three with no extra base hits.  He had no runs, RBI’s or walks but did strike out once.

Greg Bird went one for one at the plate.  He played three innings of work and the Yankees seem to have given up the catcher thing for Bird since he played first base today.

Hensley started and was pretty dominate as he went two innings and struck out five batters.   He allowed one hit and two walks to go with a run that wasn’t earned.  Hensley also got one GO and one AO.  This was a good second appearance for Hensley.

Hayden Sharp went three innings and had himself a pretty good day also.  He struck out three without giving issuing a walk.  He did give up a hit that led to two runs with one of them being earned.  With a five GO to one AO Sharp was pretty good today.

Brady Lail went two innings without giving up a hit or walk and struck out three batters.

Dayton Dawe also went two two innings but he allowed two walks to one strikeout.

There is an off day tomorrow and will be at the Jays complex on Monday at noon eastern.
